THE PROJECT

This freelance project was created to support the launch of ActOne Cinema, Acton’s long-awaited community cinema, housed in the historic Old Library. After decades without a local screen, the building was transformed thanks to a determined group of residents and a successful crowdfunding campaign supported by the Mayor of London’s Spacehive fund.

To celebrate this inspiring journey, I was part of the creation of a short film that tells the story of how ActOne came to life and why it matters to the community. The film now plays before every screening, offering audiences a heartfelt introduction to the cinema they helped create.
